I've dumped Power4Gear for Vista's power management. But Power4Gear did not uninstall cleanly, and it have this annoying "@C:\Program Files\P4G\BatteryLife.exe -104" stiking around in the menu whenever i right click it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still stays there.
I wish to remove it by any means possible.
Is there a possible way of going into the registry and finding the offending key?

You can use CCleaner or Total Uninstall 4.26 for removing/uninstalling from registry.

Sorry to breathe life back into this dead old thread but I am having the same problem, I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, ccleaning but I cant get rid of the Power4Gear power schemes and that same thing the OP has.
When I reinstall, I cant even open the interface and its really annoying.
Can anyone maybe help me please? -
Try deleting this key if it exists, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\SysTray\BattMeter\ContextMenu.

That worked!
Thanks mate -
You can also search "P4G" in the registry to delete those keys that were left behind after uninstalltion. Just backup if you are unsure of deleting them.
Or I recommend Revo Uninstaller to uninstall softwares
Power4Gear not uninstalling cleanly.
