"but the visual basic still there, and the star menu still "hidding".

    I do not understand this.

You may also want to remove and reinstall the ATK drivers, and perhaps ATK Hotkey.

what is the connect on atk drivers and power4gear?

PS: "but the visual basic still there, and the star menu still "hidding".
well, when AC power is off, and the battery saving is on, the visual style of windows vista change to visual basic style, with no aero and the start menu hidde, and all icons in desktop desapear...but now when im change to highperformace just the desktop icons appears, not the start menu and the aero...

i will try reinstall the atk drivers

ATK is related to power management.

Maybe it can also be a problem with Vista's power profiles?

well, I reinstalled the atk drivers(all atks) and reintalled the power4gear, after this all worked perfectly, but I have to change of 16bits to 32bits(I dont know why this changed).

    thx for everything..thx a lot
