    Hi guys.

I have been lurking for long enough and this is my first post.
I have a question about a the Asus w6 premium model. Are there any plans on releasing premium models with the new dual core processors? Preferably with the same type of pearl/gold theme...?

Oh and also, if they are releasing one, please try and talk me out of buying it. I mean, paying extra cash to have a stunning pearl-gold model with flowers on is just silly, right......right?? I'm also considering the w3j of course, the v1j and the w5. They're all very aesthetically appealing imo.

Oh. Thanks for the reply SRD :) I think that info might just have cured me. I should get the dual core platform to be future-proof and all that jazz. Still, I like the pearl/ gold design.

Maybe Asus will release a new premium with different colour theme? Proportable is probably busy with the w3j preorder thing, but if he or some other knowledgeable person could find the time to share some info on this i'd be much obliged. The design is not such a big deal but it'd still be nice to know. ( Oh who am I kidding, of course it's a big deal :D)

w6 was never available here in the states anyway. The core duo z35f (coming "mid-march") is closely related to the w6 with core duo but will not be in the snazzy pearl/gold combo.

The z35f will hopefully be imported in black not the weird pearl over silver. There is no concrete eta on it yet.

Eddie's right the Z35f will come in as a charcoal unit, taking over the spot held for two plus years by the M5 (Z33).....

That's Pearl and Champainge colored W6 was a limited edition, sold in China and Germany if I'm not mistaken......... Personally, I've seen the color combo and as I've said before... it's only for those people who would buy a pearl Lexus or Acura and get the "gold package" ........ tacky is the best way to describe it.

Ok. Thanks Proportable, Geared and others, I'll have a look at the z35f, never heard of it before. Found this thread though, this forum is great: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=45726 ) I think I'm leaning towards getting a w3j, or a w7j atm though, if i can wait that long. Something that is small and light with dedicated graphics. Thanks again.
