I bought this over a year ago for work, but now it is starting to get a bit heavy for my liking. Looking to trade down to a lighter ASUS Model.

How much could I get for this laptop realistically? 1.83ghz, 1gb ram, 80gb HD. Laptop is in great condition, just 1 nick on the cover.

Also I haven't paid much attention to their new line so hopefully someone can recommend me a new ultra portable that I can work with.

    Thanks

    I would guess $500-600, perhaps.

Sticking with Asus they're clearing out the W7s/U3s 13" models, or another alternative is the 12" U6sg (which would more rightly be considered a potential ultraportable); there's also the U2-series 11". There are issues with the U6's 3cell battery creating extreme downclocking of the cpu/gpu, but the 6cell works and there is an option for 9cell. I'd steer away from the F9 12", its battery life is supposed to be more miserable than current Asus average and there are potential chassis quality issues.
