    Hi All

I was wondering f anyone could give me a price guide (€ preferably but $ ok too) for the ASUS Z9100. The computer is 6 months old, very good condition and the specs are...

    Intel Centrino 1.5 Ghz , 512 DDR Ram, 40 Gb hdd,Intel Extreme Graphics,DVD+/-RW Dual layer Burner Drive,15" TFT,10/100/1000 MBit LAN,56K Modem,54Mbit WLAN 802.11g,1x IEEE1394 FireWire,4x USB 2.0, Windows Xp Pro, Office Xp Pro , infrared, 4 in 1 card reader.

    So whats it worth?

That runs at around $1000 Canadian brand new here, so thats around $850 US or so.

Converted using www.xe.com, its at 700 € or so. With the rapid depreiciation for technology(booo!!), I'd say around 630 €..

It's a good computer for basic needs.

If I recall correctly, it has a built in webcam right?

It's one of the lower end ASUS laptops, and I think it's being refreshed with the z91n soon.

Webcam?... I'm not sure to be honest.

I have not seen the laptop yet. The seller is looking for €700, but I'm uncertain.

Would you suggest waiting a few months and looking elswhere or buying this now?

700€ brand new is a good price but if this is second hand and has been used for 6months+ then the price is too high and the seller is being greedy. I think closer to 600 or lower is a fairer price, the 9100 was a budget ASUS machine and is at least a year old in terms of technology, these need to be factored in...why is the seller getting rid of it? Probably to buy a newer more current laptop...a good reason not to buy this one unless its a v.good price IMHO.
