    Hi everyone
I just got a u6e, and i notice that there are 3 partition in my hard drive
There is my VistaOS (C Drive), Data (D Drive) and one primary partition which is around 7GB.
The 7GB partition can't be seen under my computer but can be seen in the computer management under admin tools. I am just wondering what that is and if I can delete it?

I think that partition is for Booting Files or something of that. I actually have something similar i think. Idk if this is correct or not, if its not, someone else will reply lol.

Hi, this partition is the Asus's RECOVERY partition!!!!

You are better let it here and don't del it.

When you boot up and press the "F9", you can recovery your Windows Vista to the factory default like the day you buy the computer :)

Since I have the Recovery DVD, is it safe to delete it?

If you really want to, but it's always faster and safer to keep it and besides, you won't be able to recreate this partition(very easily).

The first thing I did upon getting my U3S was to delete all 3 partitions and install XP
why waste 6 gigs when you have the recovery dvd.i never plan on recovering it anyways. :)
