Ok ive ran prime 95 for the last 3 hours on my z70va. My average temp was around 89 and max was 92. This is without underclocking or anything. Does this sound about normal?

It is a little high in my opnion but computers can withstand about 110F before problems atart happening.

It depends on your CPU and the ambient temperature of the room...
it could be better, but it's definitely nothing to worry about. -
yeh its a 2.0 ambient temp is around 20 celcius

really? seems rather high to me...I haven't done a peak temp under load test yet, but still seems a bit high to me...I will do a test as well and see what I get.
Oh yes, remember it's "without undervolting..." not underCLOCKING which is the cpu speed, by lowering the multiplier. Undervolting is lowering the voltage the cpu requires to operate.

Not really high more like within range. My m5n for example reaches a max of 83C during the most demanding use however if i torchure test it then it will reach somewhere close to 90c after a few hours. But how many of use run the equivalent of a torchure test for a few hours during the course of the loaptops lifetime. If this bothers you then you can see if maybee refill with some arctic silver which never did anything for me. I am pretty sure there is nothing you can do about this as it is withing normal operating range however obviously your laptop will die sooner then later if this is the way you mostly use your laptop.... at temps around 90C. CHC or NHC really works a wonder for temps however with it may come instability and there have been no long term studies of this volting util
