    Hi,
I have ASUS N61Jv with Windows 7 64-bit for about 1,5 year. Now I have some problems with battery (it shuts down when I am on 40%, probably because of used battery). I have downloaded HWMonitor and discovered that the Wear level of my battery is 49%. So I was googling for a while and discovered one solution that could help - Battery Calibration. I found an instruction and went to BIOS. However there was no "Power" tab and therefore no " Start Battery Calibration" option. I would like to calibrate battery but there is no option there. My BIOS is updated to 224 - the newest one. Please help me! If there are any other solutions how to make the life of battery better, just let me know :)

    Hi Mate,

I wouldn't waste my time on trying to calibrate the battery, most chances it won't help you.
Your battery is 1.5 years long, it's done its share. Per your description it's about to be dead soon, i would suggest buying a replacement and reading some useful battery usage tips. you can find them easily on google.
