Hi everybody, i'm having a few issues with my GPU !

I have installed the latest nvidia drivers with the ntools system performance and i think i'm having some issues with games

    a) When i run games like L4D for example @ stock clocks i can't get a solid average fps number because it bumps from 120 to 70 constantly and the jump is to big and constantly from 80 to 120, is this normal ?

    b) When i OC my GPU @ 575/980/1450 and start left 4 dead it runs reeeaaaaaaly bad ! i mean when a zombie approach me my fps's go down to 40 or 50 .. considering that didn't happens when i run stock clocks xD !

Other software like rivatuner reads any clock settings except the ones it has to read xD .. for example : 400/300/1000.

I haven't tested other games yet cause i just format my other PC and i'm downloading them right now.

PS : i'm running windows 7 Ultimate RTM .. and it seems it still has issues with the CPU consumption, anyone has any idea how to fix it ? sometimes when opening a Chrome window the log says it reaches the 50 or 40 %

    Thanks !

it is running really bad because you are not following the GPU's shader to core ratio. it should be 1:2.5 iirc, and yours is way off.

Sry , i wrote down wrong values .. the values i use for OC are the ones xcskiier23 used for his review : 575/980/1450

I just run Furmark with both settings ..

575/980/1450 and with 500/800/1250 and the AVG FPS number is exactly the same 607

knock down the memory clock to like 850 you really wont notice the difference.
gpu temp only measures the core not the gpu memory. you are probally overheating the memory.
unless all you do is run benchmarks lol.

I tried 575/850/1450 with the furmark and got a few less fps .. instead of getting 604 i got 597.

I'm running this just from the benchmark right now cause it's supposed that the performance of the GPU is showed with it.
