When my picture goes off I can't restore it back. My picture turns off after a few minutes (I set it in power4gear, useful when downloading something) and then I can't turn it back on, I see only black screen. The only way to restore picture is to restart laptop.

Is it only the screen? Or the whole notebook.

    Have you tried FN+F5?

Only the screen, everything else works fine. I have tried to press each key, even CTR+ALT+DEL and it was still black.
I think I will try to reinstall power4gear and ATI driver.

I think it's an issue with the video card drivers, many notebooks have it.

Easier solution than restarting: close and open lid. Or put in standby and then resume.
