Anyone get this response when trying to register for the ADW coverage:

" We’re sorry to inform you that your ASUS notebook computer is not qualified for this ADW program, because your ASUS notebook computer may be either subject to different product warranty terms or the purchase of your ASUS notebook computer was made prior to Sept. 10, 2007. For example, some retailers require notebook vendors to provide one-year product warranty only for notebooks.

Please contact your original dealer for more information, if you still need to get the accidental damage warranty program for your ASUS notebook computer.

    Thank you for choosing ASUS."

I thought you were automatically covered when you did the normal registration.

    This is frustrating.

Call the store where you bought the notebook from or contact ASUS directly at 510-739-3777 and ask for notebook support.

The G50 series has a bunch of serial #s that didn't make it into the Asus database - this was a known problem back when it was released.

Everyone around here reported no problems with getting it corrected once they contacted Asus directly.

I've e-mailed ASUS and the vendor. The vendor stated it has happened before.

    Thanks for the help guys.
