Has anyone with a Linksys WRT610N router and an Intel 5100AGN-laden Asus laptop had any connectivity issues? Specifically, all's well when I have my M50Vm laptop already connected to the router until I travel with it and connect it to some other router. When I return home, 90%+ of the time the 5100AGN will then claim that it's unable to connect to the WRT610N (though it sees the SSID just fine), forcing me to do a power-cycle of the router before it works as if nothing had happened. I've already gotten the latest driver for the 5100AGN and the router has the latest firmware updates. I figured I'd see if any of you guys noticed such strangeness and confirm it's nothing known with the 5100/5300 cards before I gripe at Linksys. Thanks!

    Try the following:

    1) Have you tried using another laptop to connect to the Linksys WRT610N? If that works, then something's up with your ASUS laptop.

    2) There could be some setting in the router that is preventing an auto connection.

    3) Any chance it is your Windows software that is mis-configured?

I've not had another laptop available to test with yet, but the Asus has absolutely no problem connecting to any other router, so I know the Windows software is configured correctly. My PS3 connects to the router wireless with no problem, but as I never connect it to anything else, I can't really test with it. All the router settings are correct (in fact, the Asus will connect to neither the G nor N radios when the issue occurs) and behaves perfectly once rebooted. I'm leaning more toward the 1.0 version of this router just being a bit quirky. Known issues with it have been that it drops existing connections for people, but I've never experienced that. So long as I can confirm it's not my M50, I'll be semi-content. Thanks for the suggestions!

Update: Even though I really shouldn't have to use it, I'm going to try reinstalling via the LELA 3.0 configuration software after I reset the router tonight. I originally just configured it directly from the web GUI.
