    Hello,

    I bought an ASUS U3S, wich cames with an external dvd-rom drive, and when I try to copy data from a dvd to the hard drive, I get a blue screen on my pc, and the Windows reboots...

    I have Win Vista.

    Has this happened to anybody else?

    What does the blue screen say? Write down the module that caused the problems, and the STOP error number.

    I suspect mainly the driver, but it can also be other things like bad voltages (see below).

    Try removing the device from device manager, then installing it again.

    Are you perchance undervolting the CPU or otherwise tweaking the frequencies of the CPU or GPU?
