Some of the USB ports in the back dont work and the others work sporadically. I have a mouse plugged in and it sporadically powers it, but basically i can not use the USB ports. I try to back up my computer and if i get lucky it works long enough. ANY suggestions?

I vaguely remember reading about this problem but i have been unable to find it during my searches.

Im running vista 64 on a side note (seems to cause a lot of problems)

i updated the drivers for inf but that did not fix problem.

when i plug mouse in sometime it will work and sometimes it will not, if i toy around with the mouse it will start to work for awhile and then stop. (this occors on some of the USB ports and for others it does not work at all)

    Maybe it's a hardware problem.

Or maybe it's just with the mouse. Did you try other peripherals (USB memory keys for instance).
