I've looked at "X205TA problems" thread and it seems like the upgrade might require quite a few tweaks afterwards. What are the main pros and cons of upgrading and what must be done if upgrading?

A lot of this comes down to personal preference.
Pros - More refined UI, no need for Classic Shell (or the like, although still compatible), DirectX 12, etc.
Cons - Excessively invasive (in terms of personal identity and history)
Many have found ways to block the invasive part, and this invasion of privacy has been backported to 8 and 7 as well. I actually believe that going from 8(.1) to 10 is worth less consideration than going from 7 to 10, but again, that's simply out of personal preference. 10 is a better OS in many technical respects. -
I have Win 10 on other machines and like it on a "personal preference" scale despite its privacy problems. I was asking specifically about adopting it to X205TA as it has very limited space (and all updates are forces) and quite a few people reported hardware glitches after upgrading.
Pros and Cons of upgrading X205T from Win 8.1 (classic shell) to Win 10
