Once I decided I really had to have a 15 incher, this is what I went and did. :D I guess I've got plenty of time to find drivers, etc. I own a retail copy of Vista 64 Ultimate and that's what I'll be putting on it. Any advice on initial set-up welcomed. Add one more to the ranks, and chalk another one up for GenTech!

Hey congrats. I remember you were thinking about an IFL90 the other day, but Asus is right on par. How much did you fork over for the C90?

As configured it was 1707. with a 2 year labor and parts warranty, before 2nd day air shipping. I'm 2500 miles away in Florida. I came full circle as I had started out considering that unit (Post on here somewhere :)

BTW, Ken at GenTech was very fast at calling me to confirm after I placed the order online. I was pretty impressed with that. Great guy to deal with. Also, looks like there is a 40 buck mail in rebate good to the end of the month, but I haven't checked it out yet.

Thanks Forerunner. Yes, I got the gddr3. That was kind of a pleasant surprise really because I wasn't watching that. But that's what's good about this unit, you don't feel stuck with the card that came with the initial order. Another thing that appealed to me is being able to get at the 'guts' so easily, if nothing else to blow the thing out :).

I still haven't figured out how to get inside my 6805 just so I could clean it out. Thing is damn near impossible to get into. Another thing I love about the C90.

Seems like you and we were in the same boat. I too had been looking at the iFL90 and the c90. The addition of the GDDR3 was the deciding factor, I might have spent a bit more than initially planned but might be better off in the long run. Looks like we'll have two DDR3s to shake down soon.
