    Hi,
Recently, I had a problem with the power connector on my Z71V, and no repair place seems to be able to alleviate the problem. I was wondering whether it'd be possible to purchase a replacement motherboard for the Z71V, while I'm currently on a work trip to Egypt. I can't seem to find any source of help here, and any info would be greatly appreciated.

    TIA

Its very dfficult to find motherboards for the vast majority of notebooks. There are all specific to a notebook, so a limited amount are produced. The best place would be to go to Asus themselves, however, they may not deal with cosumers directly, and may direct you to some other reseller company.

This is probably what you need, but call or email them first to make sure.
