    Hey all,

I was seriously considering purchasing an A8js within the next week but just heard a rumour that there are upgraded a8js's coming out soon. I wanted to check whether anyone here had heard of this or could confirm this rumour? I would hate to make the purchase only to find out a week later that my model is "outdated"

    Thanks in advance

    Link to rumour?

ANd outdated is overrated, cause it will be in a matter of seconds :p

the rumour is that asus found the major hardware problem on those A8Js and they just stop making those in Taiwan. My girlfriend trys to order one in taiwan but there is no A8Js in Taiwan

    Hold the bus.

    No way.

Now, because of the way Asus does its regional marketing, it's possible that the regional Asus distribution network in Taiwan is pushing other models right now, or that supply is just low...

But it's not going away in NA anytime soon. Heck, a new variant just appeared on Newegg and promptly sold out.
