    Put vista in the bin

    Hi :)
    can anybody tell me if & how I can get rid of vista & find the ( working ) drivers
    for XP on a Asus Pro50 series ? I already tried formatting and installi one by one all the drivers I could find ... but the one for the ati mobility radeon hd 3470 seems impossible to install on xp :( Thank you very much for any help :D :)

    You can get rid of Vista by formatting the hard drive (after backing up ;)). You can then install XP, but it would be best to look for the drivers first (or at least the network drivers). You can then have Windows search for the best drivers for your hardware from the Device Manager. :cool:

    Is that Pro50 ASUS a re-named, or related to, a "mainstream" like the F or the A series?

    If so, maybe you can use some of the XP downgrade guides in the Info Booth, for the related models.

    Otherwise, you're on your own... some drivers off the Vista CD will work, you need to scavenge for the rest.
