This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I know you can get it with a 1GB 9800gs, but is there that much of a difference when compaired to a laptop with 512MB 9800GT in it?

    512mb 9800gt is probably more powerful, because the 9800gs likely can't actually use/fill 1Gb of VRAM.
