I'm watching Asus carefully at the moment since in a number of months I hope to be able to replace my Vaio FE with a smaller form factor. The W3J caught my attention- excellent spec, metal-based chassis, light weight and 14' screen- but it now seems to be getting harder and harder to buy, at least in the UK. Yet it is still listed on the ASUSTeK site...?
Is this machine being phased out? Will it be replaced by one with similar/ better specs, but the same build quality and form factor?
Thanks.

Yeap, it's been phased out for a few months already, and stock is low, if not all gone.
It has two predecessors, the V2 and A8, with the former a business class 14" with a mainstream video card, and the A8, a consumer class notebook with a high end video card. -
The high end A8s arent available in the UK - only the one with the go7300 or x2300. I havent seen the V2 around either. We get b0ned by Asus here!
