Hey guys, just got my Shinza (Elecom) 15inch grey version 2 sleeve for my W3V. The fit is not perfect, however the notebook does not move around, but I got some questions.

For those who have it, the corners of the sleeve are a tight fit for the W3V so the inner corners bend in, is this ok for the notebook to be under pressure in those corners?

As for the sleeve, I thought the foam will be alot thicker but its REALLY thin! Does this protect the notebook adequately? I usually put this notebook in my backpack and have other text books/notebooks in there too.

I kinda skeptical about the shock protection it claims to have.

Is this the A4 size sleeve? the smallest of the 15" as on the shinza site??

I've been using the Shinza sleeve since May and have had no trouble whatsoever with it. Not sure what you mean about the inner corner bending in -- mine is a perfect fit side-to-side (there's an extra half inch or so at the top, but like you say, the lappy doesn't slide around, so it's okay.

The foam is thin (the Shinza is much thinner overall than the booq), but it's dense, and that's what matters. No, I haven't dropped any ball bearings on it (not with the lappy inside, anyway! :D ), but I carry my W3 around in this thing constantly, and let's just say I'm not as careful as I ought to be, but the W3 still works beautifully, and no dents or scratches or anything.

Don't worry -- just enjoy showing off your cool toy!

Yes I meant the smallest 15inch sized sleeve (A4). The extra large sleeve is too big.

:) Thanks for that comment, its reassuring. Yeah I read people saying how thin the Booq sleeve was, but didnt read any comments regarding the Shinza. I was surprised how thin it was but i guess it would be ok.

Do you put it in your backpack or a notebook bag, and which sized 15inch sleeve do you have?
