i was randomly going through my programs in order to determine if i should uninstall any, and i decided to get rid of a program entitled WinFlash because i didn't think i used it. anyway, is there any way i can find it and reinstall it without having to do a system restore or can i find it online to download?

also, is it even worth to have? what exactly does it do? and is there any way to pick and choose what programs i can install using the restore disk the notebook came with? the box and all its cds and such are at my home and i'm in college at the moment with no way of getting it. and i know a lot of these answers are online, but i figured i would ask the great community here that has helped me a lot in the past.

    thanks in advance!

nevermind, i talked to a friend who said i can reinstall it using the support disc the notebook came with. so, i guess i'll just wait 'til i can get that to reinstall. but, regardless, what exactly is the purpose of winflash?
