I apologize as this is likely a question out of ignorance. I tried searching and looking through some threads for an answer, but I can't seem to get one.

    1. The new notebooks coming out from ASUS, if they are ensemble - they all ship with Vista. Do we have the option to revert to XP (ie - are there XP drivers available)?

The user can obviously do a reformat and put XP onto the system, but I am generally concerned about the card readers, audio drivers, hcontrol (ATK), touchpad, etc.

The easiest way to check would be to get on the Asus website and go to the driver download page for the model you are looking at. Then you would see what is available.

Asus provides Vista drivers only I think, Though nice users have been known to put together driver packs, there is one for the G1S and I will put together one for the V1S this weekend provided my laptop turns up on Friday.
