I bought my G50VT-X6 and received it last week from Newegg. First of all, the laptop I got has a little scratch on the screen when I received(very minor you can see it only when you put a lamp beside it). Second, there is a stuck white pixel that would stay bright and not change colour. However you can only see it when the screen is all black. Finally, I notice the speakers are kinda buzzing when I am watching a video that has high pitched sound. The stuck pixel is really hard to see so if I send it in, I am afraid they are going to just send my system back saying they found nothing wrong and also blaming me that I scratch the screen.

-Does Asus' "30 day Zero Bright pixel apply to this?
-Is it better if I send it back to Newegg (I'd have to pay like $40 shipping fee)? Or send it back to Asus (free 2-way shipping)?
-Does Asus or Newegg replace the whole laptop brand new, or do they give you a refurbished/ repaired laptop replacement???

Yes, you're covered with the white stuck pixel.

I would just send it to Asus for repair.

Asus will replace the defective part(s), so you won't be getting a refurbished unit. If you send it back to Newegg, they will replace it with a brand new unit.

Thanks, I probably send it to Newegg. I also just found that 2 of the 3 jacks on my G50 is really stiff. I'd have to literally jam the jack for it to fully plug in. (the middle and mic jack)
