I remember back then that Asus had a zero dead pixel warranty on their ensemble notebooks. I'm just wondering if the W3J have such warranty? Thanks!

No... only the V6, W1, M6 series have the ZBD guarantee.
-
Not sure exactly - maybe something they had to drop to hit the $1,799 price point. The extra warranty costs money.
Actually, it may be because the monitors are from a different manufacturer. -
Well, the W3 never had ZBD to begin with...
but the LCD manufacturer thing may have something to do with it also. -
Yeap, certain LCD's from Samsung has such a warranty.
And the models Aurora mentined are correct, though....in the future, things could change -
1 year on certain models right Cori?
-
The ZDB? It's always been 30 days...?
Though....the Lambo VX seems to have 1 year ZDB policy which is insane..
Also, the new ASUS LCD monitors also comes with, 1 year ZDB policy -

It's ZBD not ZDB...not that anyone cares...
Anyways, the S6F is said to also have the ZBD policy as well, I know it's not available in North America yet...but If It comes here, It also has one...along with the above mentioned systems.
I think the W3J should be covered by this policy, but Asus is funny like that...I also think It has everything to do with the manufacturer of the LCDs compared to anything else. -

i believe that the warranty is still the same as all the another models such as the enassemble models. It seems to be only 1 year global warranty now.
