If I understand the FAQ answer on Ensembles, it says that they arrive from ASUS already built and they are not customizable.

Yet I arrived on this page
    http://btotech.com/config.asp?config_id=g2sg-a1-custom
by clicking on Ensemble and there are customizing options.

Does this mean that the Asus G2SG-A1 is not an Ensamble?
Or does it mean that the reseller opens it and customizes it anyway? If the latter, is the Asus warranty voided by the reseller's customization?

I apologize if my questions are too basic. I just started looking into ASUS

i'm not entirely sure, but i believe the difference is ensemble and whitebooks, regardless of customization through the reseller

anything classifed as ensemble will give you the 2year warranty, etc.

however, whitebooks are chassises made in taiwan and are assembled by the reseller (?) according to your order.

i'm sure a vendor can better answer your question

Ensembles are prebuilt, but that doesn't mean that resellers can't reconfigure them. The reseller will provide the warranty for the pieces that they install. The rest of the system will be warrantied by Asus.
