If i get the g50v with a t9600 from xoticpc, will the direct console overclocking feature overclock the stock 2.8ghz to 3.1?

It should, otherwise it kinda defeats the whole purpose of having the overclocking feature if it only works with 1 CPU.

It might have a limit, 2.8ghz could be the limit.

Turbo Gear on the C90S for instance you get a 15% & 20% overclock up to the limit of 2.8ghz so if you got the cpu that was 2.8ghz stock you could not use it. If you got the e6700 you could only use the 15% and not the 20% and so on.

Not saying it will be the same for this laptop but that it is possible.
