Has the original version of the W3J dropped in price now that the refresh is available?

    Thanks.

Asus never drops the pricing on their existing Ensemble models.

They either upgrade the components and keep the same price (W3J+), or issue rebates on older models to clear stock that used the older components to clear the way for refreshed models (if they're in the pipeline) or to help flagging sales rates. The first wave of W3j's sold like crazy, and are mostly gone....it's always possible that a new rebate might come up for them, but I doubt it.

Actually, let me try to put this to rest. First and foremost, the first shipment of W3j's sold out from Asus in 2 days. We had the largest shipment and even those only lasted two and half weeks. No one would have them at this point.

There is no such thing as a W3J+... that's a fictional model number. The stock that has been in for the last couple weeks is the W3J-H026P... the first one was the W3J-H014P if I'm not mistaken.
