I have a key that's 'broken' in that it will not sit properly no matter what I try. I have switched the broken key with another key that isn't used much so I can use it without issue (swapped C key (broken) with number 1 (working))

Can I RMA a single key? Will Asus send me just a single key? I am under warranty as I just got my G73JH less than a month ago. I'd hate to have to send in my entire laptop and if that's the case I'd probably just stick with my workaround. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this. Thanks.

Sounds like Asus would have to replace the entire keyboard. That stinks. Anyone know if that site I posted is legit? I'd rather just buy 1 key for $5 than go through the hassle of sending my laptop in.

I bought a replacement Insert key from that site a few months ago for my Aspire 6920. They are legit.
Comes with the key, the rubber cap, and the control arm doohickey.

Post on your results. I have a bad key too. Letter "B" occasionally pops up at the bottom. When I press down hard on it, it reinserts to the keyboard.

I just got my key in the mail, only took a few days. The key works like a charm, the only issue I have is that it's a dark black and so stands out a bit from the rest of the keys. Maybe over time it'll blend in with the rest of them :)

It's great to know I have this as an option if the key gets worse. Too bad they don't sell them aged like wine to match the rest of your keys :)

When a key on my A8Js broke off, I actually bought a whole keyboard from eBay and replace it myself. When I had to send my unit in to Asus for RMA for something else, I put the keyboard with the missing key back on it and they replaced the whole keyboard.
