Posted this in one of the thread, but no replies so far.

This is my temp. for my G2s. No gaming whatsoever, just surfing the net with some songs playing/

    My question is:-

    1. If HDD is the internal HardDrive, Core1 and Core2 are the intel processor, what is Temp1?

    2. Why is my Temp1 on 53C? What programs affects the temperature on Temp1?

i have never used speedfan but from the looks of your screenshot. temp1 = core 0 + core 1.

You can run Speedfan in administrator mode, and that will give more information. The view that you have been seeing is because Vista does not allow access to the system's sensor as a "normal" user.

Thanks for replying. What is the difference between 'opening speedfan as a normal user' and 'opening speedfan as an administrator?'

For me i noticed when i opened as an administrator, my temp1 came down to 47C. Or is this mere coincidence.

P/S:- No one knows what Temp1 is? And what programs affect Temp1?

53 degrees is pretty normal. My temp 1 is 50 degrees in an air conditioned room ( no idea what is it). As long as the cores and the hard disk are below the max temperature, it will be fine.
Running as a normal user will restrict Speedfan's program sensors, and will display less information then the running in administrator mode.
