    Question about the recovery partition

    What is this partition for? It takes 3 gigs of my hdd!!! What will happen if I delete it??

    If it's like others, they set it up for you to use as a backup space. There should be a program that helps you manage it. From what I found with Fujitsu is the partition is far too small, mine needed to be 9 GB! So I backup to an external drive and hope I never have to do a full restore!
