So i just got my g50v-a2, and overall, im very satisfied. But the gfx card
(9700m gt) is fairly good, but i wouldnt mind a bit more power. I still need to get some new drivers, but in a year or so, i wouldnt mind possibly upgrading, the possibility of which is my question. Im new to lappy's (mainly desktop experience in the past), but i was wondering if this lappy currently has any gfx cards that are superior and compatible, or is it likely that one may become available soon (maybe based on experience with g1 progress/development?) ?

No. You can't upgrade a notebook gpu, except in the rarest of circumstances.

the video card in your notebook has to be MXM compatible and it cost like 500 to get a single video card like that. plus i don't think the g50v gpu is upgradable

Yeah, for more details see the standard answer under the Info BoothFAQ, under "Can my GPU be upgraded".
