How much does your laptop weigh? If you have a postal scale or live near a post office, you can go in and weigh it, and the scale is accurate up to hundredths of an ounce.

The NC10 weighs 2.9 lbs and the AAO 6-cell 2.7 lbs on the postal scale I used. I couldn't find an official figure on the AAO 6-cell, only 2.2 lbs for the 3-cell with SSD, which was the impetus for the weigh-off.

I think when I weighed mine it came in at 3.2 lbs. I am not sure if the scale is 100% accurate, but the laptop does not feel too heavy. It is nice and compact.
