I am wondering if anyone has run FSX (including SP2) on the Asus G50vt or
    G50Vm.

I am also wondering what FPS you are getting and with what settings you are set at.

Im hoping to see the laptop perform at least at medium-high settings.

I play FSX on my G71V (G50V but with high res 17" screen)

It is playable at 1920x1200 and I get about 20fps, with everything to max, which is enough to fly with. The G50vt should get even better frame rates because it has a lower res display and a better graphics card.

Thats absoutely great news! I know that 20 FPS is good because the game isn't using alot of movement. Although I would probably lower some settings and add alot more AI.

One last thing, FSX isn't really associated with the GPU, as it is with the CPU.

Either way its a beautiful game, and running it on max with a laptop is amazing.
