On Gentech's summary at the bottom of the A8JS-4024C/P order screen, it says the RAM is upgradeable to 2GB, but they sell an upgrade to 3. I assume this means it's capable of going all the way to 4 if you have a 64-bit OS, right?

Please search for other threads here discussing the problems with the notebooks addressing the full 4Gb RAM.

As I recall, some members are reporting that running 64bit OS does not seem to solve the problem, despite the fact that it should work.

    This is a chipset/BIOS limitation.
