    Hey all,

I got this laptop for almost a year and three months. I am planning to format and install Vista business on my 1.86GHz 1GB Ram z70va. I got drivers updates from this link http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=100357&highlight=z70va+vista+32+64 . I am wondering what Bios i need to upgrade (I could not find any download or link for z70va bios).

Also, what is the performance (slow/fast) running Vista on z70va?

    Thanks.

I don't think you "need" any specific BIOS to upgrade.

I would guess the performance is somewhat lower for Vista than XP, especially in 1GB RAM (XP feels quite good in 1GB RAM, Vista feels a bit constrained). Depending on the load you usually put on the system, you might feel this difference, or you might not.
