On the Asus website and there are ALOT of different options.
Looking to get an idea of what series I want. If you could recommend a few different ones please, it would make my search process much easier
I stole this from the "what notebook should i buy"
1) What is your budget?
650-800
2) What size notebook would you prefer?
Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen, Have a 5.6 now and love it
3) Where will you buying this notebook? You can select the flag of your country as an indicator.
AMERICA. Prefer out of a store so I can see it in person, but I know that is unlikely Probably will end up buying off Amazon or NewEgg or the Asus site
4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
want an Asus
5) Would you consider laptops that are refurbished/redistributed?
possibly, I'm looking to get a great deal
6) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
Tons of multitasking, some gaming ,Lots of downloading,
7) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places, leaving it on your desk or both?
Both, college student, so my laptop goes where I go
8) Will you be playing games on your notebook? If so, please state which games or types of games? Should be able to play Fallout NV, would like to play the new Starcraft ll(not sure of requirements for this game, might be to expensive)
9) How many hours of battery life do you need?
Should be about average battery life
10) Would you prefer to see the notebooks you're considering before purchasing it or buying a notebook on-line without seeing it is OK?
Prefer to see it, but I know that buying online will give me more options and better prices
11) What OS do you prefer? Windows (XP or Vista or Windows 7), Mac OS, Linux, etc.
Windows 7
Screen Specifics
12) Standard to Midrange, need something decent, and that can handle some gaming. What would be a clean, sharp resolution for a 15-16?
13) Do you want a glossy/reflective screen or a matte/non-glossy screen?
Not to big of a deal, both have pro's and con's.....probably whichever is cheaper...i know i have to sacrifice somewhere
Build Quality and Design
14) Are the notebook's looks and stylishness important to you?
Not nearly as important as the interior and specs
15) When are you buying this laptop?
In the next two weeks, maybe longer, I will be waiting for a good deal
16) How long do you want this laptop to last?
It needs to last about 3 years as my main computer, then I will build a desktop and have the laptop for basic use
Notebook Components
17)How much hard drive space do you need; 80GB to 640GB? Do you want a SSD drive?
would like 500GB but will go smaller
18) Do you need an optical drive? If yes, a CDRW/DVD-ROM, DVD Burner or Blu-Ray drive?Blue-ray not needed
Others- USB 3.0 would be really nice, hdmi is a must, looking to get at least i5 (want a very fast processor that will last me a while), webcam would be nice aswell
Thank you in advance for all your help

I totally agree with you about their site, I found this model that seems to meet most of your specs. (It is not full hd though and no USB3)
ASUS B53J-A1B Business-Student Laptops
If you contact Donald through this site he can help you with your decision; and will know of any upcoming models that fit you specs.
Good luck with whatever you choose! -
