    1) I did a search for W3J backpacks and i couldn't find the info i was looking for. This will be the very first notebook that I will be purchasing a backpack for. I went to Fry's and browse some of their backpacks. When I was in college, my backpack always had leather bottom (similar to Jansports) so it was very rugged when I left it on the ground. However, many of these laptop notebooks have a very cheap bottom, and it doesn't seem quite as durable.

Have any of you guys any experience on this? Will the bottom wear out quick?

    2) I also notice that the pocket you put the laptop in doesn't seem very padded compared to one of those shoulder-strap cases. Should I get one of those sleeves for w3j? Would that be overdoing it?

    3) Could anyone recommend me a few backpacks that would fit this 14" well? I know Targus would be OK, but their backpacks don't seem very good. I checked out that Swiss brand, and it looks pretty good but was wondering if I can get 2nd or 3rd opinions.

    Thanks guys for your help!

theres alot available at ebags.com..you can actually put it through the laptop bag finder and it'll give you a list of what fits..just use w3v instead of w3j when sizing it

you could search this forum for w3v backpacks as well (same chassis and all) if you want to see what other users are using.

buy a sleeve if you really like your existing backpack, or if you're afraid of notebook thieves. good sleeves need good fits and cost about as much as a lower-end laptop bag anyway, so you might need to purchase another sleeve come time for the w3j to be retired.

i use one of these: http://www.heys.ca/epac/
