Hi, I have been torn between a G60VX or the JX and by chance a VX happened to be on sale at best buy for $599. some managers special promotion, it was new also. Was this a good buy? its a very weird situation with best buy making the vx $999, while the jx is $899, while the jx is faster and newer. besides that my only problem is the screen. the resolution is great for me and theres no dead pixels but rather it is the color quality that has me. There is alot of dithering going on on the screen, and even though I am running it in 32-bit true color, it seems there are alot of shades missing and being compensate for by mixing pixels to create new colors. on the whole its not very noticeable, but still annoying. Is there a way to fix this? any drivers or something? I have been looking for a solution for a few nights now and barely anybody has even mentioned the color quality of the screen. If I should get a new screen can someone direct me to where they sell better quality screens for the asus g60vx? Thank you for reading this and I hope you can help me!

You can try laptopscreen.com and search for screens but I'm not too sure you'll find any better ones. You got an amazing deal on that laptop though! Wish the G60jx I got was on sale when I picked it up
