A pretty 'showcase'... I love seeing the Z33a; the Z83 also look very impressive...

So is the z33a the s5n's replacement?

The S5A is the S5N's replacement; the Z33a is the M5N's replacement

That Z63A looks very similar to my W3A but claims to have a 1280 x 800 resolution display whereas I've only got 1280 x 768.

The z63a is the 'customizable' version of the w3v, just without the aluminum lid, x600 and bluetooth but the rest is the same!

Actually the Z70 series have been like that unwanted step-child to Asus. Although they still support the model, they just don't display them in the family pictures. I've been wondering why they haven't listed the Z70V,A, or VA on their website. It's been out forever now. They did have the M6, but took it off (because it's old), but come on, I thought they were slacking off with the updates, but other systems have made it on already.

Maybe they know something that we don't and not telling us... the Z70 series is going by the wayside and they want to make as much money as they can before it does

I, too, find it odd... however, the M6 series is still listed on the Asus GLOBAL site... so that's close enough to the Z70 series.
There, they have practically all revisions of the M6...
    M6N(e), M6V, M6Va, M6R...

So for all intents and purposes, if I needed updated files for the drivers, utilities, etc. would I be looking for support under the M6000 series (aka M6VA) or the Z7000 series (aka Z70VA)?

It would probably be best to look under the Z70 section... but the M6 series would probably work just as well (afterall, they are the same notebook... the only difference being that the M6 is the global/ensemble name)

There's a typo on this document. Under the Z81, it lists it as having integrated graphics when in fact, it has the exact opposite, the 6800. :p

It'd be nice if they either stuck in a 7800 GTX OR slimmed it down and went with a P-M instead. Using a 6800 + P4 seems a bit of a compromise. If it's thick and weighs 9 pounds, it better be good, otherwise I'd prefer thinner.
