This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    does the 8-cell battery on the W3V extend the overall dimensions?

    No..... the 4 cell battery (which should be smaller) was actually built in the 8 cell's casing...... The battery is really designed to look like part of the hinge, so that's why it was done that way.
