Does it support 4GB RAM run with Vista? Now im using 2GB thinking to upgrade to 4 so just wonder does it work or it only can read max 3GB even it said it can support 4...

My boss just bought a Toshiba and he put in 4GB using Vista and it only can read 3GB..so i just want to make sure, dont want to end up like him buying 4 but only can read 3...Thanks

32-bit versions of OS(XP or Vista etc) can only read/see up to ~3GB. To see all of the 4GB you will need a compatible chipset and a 64bit OS.

The recovery CD is for the OS version that originally shipped on your notebook, afaik.
