Hi, I have an L80x Ultra from Velocity Micro. It runs Windows Vista 32-bit. I have trouble finding a driver for my integrated camera. Would a asus webcam 1.3M, USB2.0, FF driver work for it? If not is there anyone that knows the correct driver? Thanks

From what I understand your are moving from XP to Vista, but can't find vista drivers, right?
Anyway, without knowing anything on the webcam that is in your laptop (hardware id and manufacturer of the webcam) there isn't much we can help you with.
Use EVEREST Home Edition (free system diagnostics) to give us more info. You can get it there:
    http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html

Once you have maker and hardware id, post them here, and look for the driver on the manufacturer's website. If that's not possible, here are some suggestions:

    1. Try using XP drivers in Vista, they may work. You might have to get them out of your XP installation using a driver backup software.
    2. Try looking for another laptop that has the same camera, and check the drivers provided by that laptop maker, you may get lucky.
    3. Check driver websites such as the ones below:
    http://www.driverskit.net/Camera.html
    http://members.driverguide.com/
    http://forums.driverguide.com/forumdisplay.php?f=78
    4. If none of the above works, and you found some driver that almost could work, but don't, then tweaking with hardware ids in the .inf files may be necessary. Check these pages for more info:

    5. Give up upgrading to Vista! There's are good reasons for that which I explain in this new thread.
