Well its more of a question about the warranty on it.
Where exactly is the warranty info located?

And i tried to use the disk to reinstall everything and it gives me this error
Cannot find: E:/I386/recovery.dat or something random like that even though i put the driver disk into the computer...

This all started because the programs randomly stopped working...

Edit: this is probably a really stupid question but im annoyed right now if you can't tell.. =(

i know you have 2 years warranty but don't know where you can see this, probably on a manual or something.

You should have gotten a gray flier with the documents of the notebook; that's your warranty document, but you also need the receipt.

As to the bottom of the notebook, for ensembles the warranty period is stated on the sticker which also contains the serial number, smth like "24M" (from 24 months, 2 years).

If you ordered from newegg.com you would have received the receipt in the package with the laptop.

Indeed, you should have gotten the documents of the notebook (unless newegg for some reason doesn't send them but I couldn't imagine why).

It might be that you have received the receipt in the email since you ordered online. That'll do fine. I don't think they'll cause problems if you don't send the receipt -- but you never know.

The gray flier is somewhere with the manuals perhaps. Anyway you won't need the flier.
