    How deep in is the palm rest? meaning, how many inches is it from the edge of the keyboard, to the end of the laptop/palm rest? My guestimate is 5 inches? Unfortunately, out of all the Asus models I've seen, this series was always out of my reach.

    It's around 4.7 inches from the bottom of FN key to end of keyboard.
