    Newbie question and I feel embarrassed to ask, but does the G1S A1 have a dual layer DVD burner? I know its a Multi recorder, but I've yet to find out if it could burn DL dvds... can anyone enlighten me?

    Yes, it does. I believe most of the new notebooks are now coming with dual layer dvd writers as standard.
