    I've sent them my email with my receipt about a week or two ago.

    You won't be able to get W7 from Asus until after October 22nd.

    If I don't hear back from them by next week, I think I'll contact them and try to figure out whats with the delay.

    Just use the public RC or any of the newer builds and keep rearming it until it releases in October. It doesn't really matter for me though; I get Seven for free.

    It doesn't matter. As long as you keep rearming the Windows Activation program before the end of the 30 day evaluation period, there is no need for keys. This applies to all RC and beta versions of Seven.

    correct me if i'm wrong but i don't think it works that way for windows 7 rc1, even if you do reinstall before the 30 day period, after march it's going to shut down every 2 hours lol -.-;

    First, who the hell would still be using the RC in March, five months after Seven becomes available, and you can't say poor people or lazy people. Second, you don't need to reinstall before the 30 day period to continue to use Seven. Just rearm the activation timer.

    for everyone whos Emailed their junk into asus thats received a notification that they got your info, and are still waiting on a "confirmation on their materials." I emailed asus about this, cause I never got a confirmation from them, and they said that i basically would get the confirmation around oct 22nd when they ship out windows 7 to us.

    Wow......really? Thats pretty disappointing......and watch that some of us get denied due to some discrepancy with the receipts and then we'll have to wait even longer as we send in new receipts and such
