    1) Anyone know if ASUS will be getting into the Turion X2 series? Or are they now set with the Intel Duo Core?

    2) Is there going to be a duo core replacement for the Z71/70 series? Are there going to be any other 15" barebones series?

    3) Anyone confirmed what kind of video ram the go7600 has in the A8JM?

i dont think there are any plans for a turion x2, but i dont keep up with the amd laptops very much. the z71/70s are not getting "refreshed" unfortunately, but their "replacement" is the z96j which will have a 128mb x1600.

as to what kind of ram the 7600 will have, i dont really have a clue. the desktop version of the 7600gs has gddr2 and the 7600gt has gddr3.

ASUS and AMD has never been a real force, but Intel 'likes' ASUS, as many 'demo' models has always been ASUS models, from the demo Centrino model(M2? or M3?), to the Vista W5, to the Core Duo W5f.

    core duo > Athlon x2

Unless you need 64 bit now then there really is no reason to get a turion
