Hello all Asus owners, especially C90s and ps I posted part of this to the C90 owners lounge, but Duhai was the only one who has been posting lately and he couldn't answer my questions, I'm in dire need of a replacement GPU and I need to figure out the fastest and least expensive route I can go to replace my now fried 8600m GT, as you all know is a real pain in the and I don't want to have to keep reflowing it with a hair dryer or baking it, video card were never meant to be bake NVIDIA! BTW it wasn't the reflow issue that fried my no departed 8600, it was a bad C90p mobo that I bought from China, let the buyer beware! Anyhow please take a look and see if you can answer my questions, and please don't move this to the owner's lounge it will just collect dust and most likely go unanswered.
    Thanks
    Ken

Can I pull a ATI 3650 mxm ii, from a Acer Aspire, for example like this one Acer Aspire 6530G 16" Notebook 2 2GHz Dual Core 4GB RAM 320GB ATI Radeon HD3650 | eBay, if I find one for the right price? I will still have to do ASME? It seems to me to make more sense to go with something that is working that I can pull rather than a card like this one ATI HD3650 512MB DDR2 V D Vo HDCP PN 188 0BE41 01CAC Acer PN VG APC36 522 | eBay, at least I know the card works in a working system. I hope this makes sense, and yes C90S Unleashed is great work and I am thankful for Angels work.
Oh I almost forgot this is the 9600 Original NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT Video Card for MSI MS 1722 GX720 w Heatsink | eBay I was considering buying, but probably wouldn't work because of Vbios and will need the ASME. So then I guess this 8600 New NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT Graphics Card Green | eBay that I didn't buy probably wouldn't work either? Both of these card are MSI, so is the problem that they are locked in the Vbios? I really am trying to understand this.

Wow, 150 plus views and no replies, i cant believe no one knows the answer, there has to be someone who knows the answer, till I figure this out I have no working laptop, since I have no working GPU, please try to help
    Thanks
